Jung-ho Kang, who received a visa early this year after missing all of the 2017 season following a drunk driving conviction in Korea, will reportedly be activated for the final three games of the season in Cincinnati.
Kang played about a month’s worth of games at Bradenton and Indianapolis in preparation for being recalled, but injured a tendon in his left wrist in late June and underwent surgery a month later.
ANNOUNCED: Infielder Jung Ho Kang is expected to join the Pirates Friday and will be active for the games in Cincinnati over the weekend.
