The Washington Nationals made an unexpected (improbable?) run this October to clinch the franchise’s first-ever World Championship. The playoffs had moments of drama but, perhaps, a general feeling of blandness that overshadowed much of it.
For those that love offense, there was a bit to be desired and there were a few theories to why that occurred after the type of regular season we had in 2019.
We polled our FanPulse members why they think there was so little offense during the playoffs this year. We offered three options. Here are the results.
