Steven Brault could make a case for the fifth starter job today against an almost regular season worthy Yankees lineup.
New York will send out right-handed power hitters Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Miguel Andujar, Troy Tulowitzki, and the Pirates’ best hitter from last year, Ryan Lavarnway.
Brault had a strong spring debut on Feb. 23 against the Phillies, tossing two innings of one-hit ball, striking out a pair. 19 of his 23 pitches thrown were strikes.
First pitch is at 1:05 p.m..
