Community ground rules

Hi Pirates fans! My name is Tanya Bondurant and I am the Editorial Manager for SB Nation’s MLB sites. With a new season right around the corner, it seemed like a good time to remind both long-time community members and those who may have just found Bucs Dugout for the first time about SB Nation’s Community Guidelines. You can read those guidelines here.

We want the Bucs Dugout community to be a welcoming place for all fans of the Pirates. To that end, as we search for a new manager and prepare for spring training, we want to restate a few things: personal attacks, discriminatory language, and NSFW commentary/images will absolutely not be tolerated on any SB Nation site, including Bucs Dugout.

I have asked Wilbur to keep a close eye on the comments and moderate them as necessary based on the guidelines above. All of our communities are designed to be inclusive environments where all fans feel they can gather for respectful discussion about their favorite team. Please do your part to help foster that kind of environment for your fellow Pirates fans.
