The Pirates made a pair of roster moves Wednesday morning, optioning RHP Jake Barrett to AAA Indianapolis and reassigning infielder Alfredo Reyes to minor league camp.
The Pirates claimed Barrett off waivers on Mar. 1. The former Diamondback and Giant made two appearances this spring, striking out three and allowing one run in two innings of work.
Reyes was moved from minor league camp to the major league one as a non-roster invitee earlier this month and slashed .182/308/.182 in 26 plate appearances. The 25 year old played in three levels of the minors last season, finishing in AAA.
There are now 38 players still in camp.
