Game Thread: It’s Finally Opening Day!

So long, winter! There’s Bucco baseball today.

Jameson Taillon will take on Luis Castillo in Cincinnati. First pitch is 4:10 p.m..

Taillon went 3-2 with a 3.16 ERA in five starts against the Reds last year. Castillo went 1-2 in three starts against the Pirates, allowing nine runs in 16 innings pitched (5.06 ERA).
