Altoona and Greensboro were both rained out.
— Indianapolis (9-5) fielded a loaded, rehab-enhanced lineup, so naturally the Indians couldn’t do much with veteran mediocrity Odrisamer Despaigne and some mostly struggling relievers in a 3-2 loss to Louisville. Lonnie Chisenhall, Gregory Polanco and Elias Diaz each went 1-4 as Indy managed only six hits. Cole Tucker was also 1-4 and hit his third home run. Starter Eduardo Vera gave up three in the first, one unearned, but followed that with four shutout innings. He finished with six hits, no walks and four strikeouts.
Will Craig: 0-4
Ke’Bryan Hayes: 1-4
Bryan Reynolds: 1-2, BB
Kevin Kramer: 0-2, BB
Geoff Hartlieb: 2 IP, 2 H, BB, 2 K
Dovydas Neverauskas: 2 IP, BB, 3 K
— Robbie Glendinning (pictured) drove in four runs as Bradenton (11-5) beat Jupiter, 7-1. Glendinning, who was just moved down from Altoona in some roster shuffling, went 2-3 with a triple, a walk and his first home run. Domingo Robles gave up just an unearned run over six innings. He allowed seven hits and one walk, and struck out five. Travis Swaggerty broke out of a 1-for-22 slide to go 2-4 with a walk. Chris Sharpe was 3-4 with a walk.
Cal Mitchell: 1-4
Blake Cederlind: 2 IP, H, 3 BB
