Indianapolis (35-28) trounced 14-6 by visiting Buffalo (29-34)
Starter Cam Vieaux (3-3, 3.33) left a lot of runners on base, allowing five hits and five walks in five innings but onyl allowed two to score as the Indians held a 6-2 lead ibto the sixth - but Jesus Liranzo (8.54 ERA in 26 1⁄3 IP) and Brandon Waddell (8.70 ERA in 30 IP), two relievers who have yet to be recalled, combined for nine hits and five walks in the next three innings as the Bisons tallied twelve runs over the final four innings.
The only reliever not to allow any runs was J.B. Schuck, who was also the only player to have more than one hit for the Indians, with a double, triple and a walk in four times up. 3B Kevin Kramer (272/353/456) had a two-run single in the third and SS Cole Tucker (323/405/554) an RBI double in a four-run fourth.
Double-A
Altoona (31-31) falls 6-1 to visiting Portland (22-39)
The Curve and Sea Dogs were in a scoreless tie into the sixth inning with starter Sean Brady (3-6, 5.69) having allowed only one hit, but a single, walk, hit batsmen and a fielder’s choice created a Portland run in the sixth and then Brady served up a solo homer in the seventh. The game was put away when Vicente Campos (5.25 ERA in 24 IP) served up four runs in the eighth and ninth.
High-A
Bradenton (35-29) loses 5-3 in a rescheduled game vs Charlotte (34-30)
In a makeup of an April game in Charlotte, Bradenton was the visiting team in their home park. Nick Economos (6-4, 2.55) started but was yanked in the third after a 36 minute rain delay, having thrown only 22 of 44 pitches for strikes and walking four batters. Samuel Reyes (1.47 ERA in 36 2⁄3 IP) had only allowed three runs all year but proceeded to give up three in just two innings on six hits, breaking a 2-2 tie.
3B Dylan Busby (214/316/474) homered for the third straight games, his 13th. SS Robbie Glendinning (335/388/588) had three hits, including his ninth home run.
Bradenton (36-29) walks off a 2-1 win over visiting Charlotte (34-31)
The Marauders and Stone Crabs were scoreless going to the bottom of the seventh, the last scheduled inning of the double header, when with two outs and no one on SS Robbie Glendinning doubled to right and then RF Cal Mitchell lined a homer, his seventh of the year, over the right field fence for a walk-off win.
Max Kranick (4-5, 4.03), who’s only allowed four runs in his last three starts, gave up just one on five hits and no walks through 6 1⁄3 innings.

Pirates-1 (5-5) fell 9-3 at Cubs-1 (4-6)
16 year old starter Andy Maldonado (24.55 DERA in 3 2⁄3 IP) was ripped for the second time, allowing seven runs in two innings.
3B Orlando Chivilli (467/529/933) was 2-for-3 with a double, triple and walk.
Pirates-2 (8-2) downed visiting Mariners (4-6) by a 4-1 score
Reliever Domingo Gonzalez (0.00 ERA in 11 IP) didn’t allow a hit over the final 4 1⁄2 inning, walking one and striking out seven.
3B Dariel Lopez had three hits.
