MLB: Chicago Cubs at Pittsburgh Pirates Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pirates will try to make it three in a row against the visiting Cubs Wednesday.

Chris Archer (3-6, 5.50) will get the start for the Bucs. The Pirates have been victorious in his last three starts and in five of his last six. He exited early with a hip injury in his last outing on June 28, but was cleared to go tonight.

Archer threw six shutout innings in his only outing against the Cubs in a Pirate uniform on Sep. 25, 2018.

Yu Darvish (2-4, 4.98) will go for the Cubs. The Pirates tagged him for five runs in 5.1 innings in a victorious effort on Apr. 10. He snapped a streak of 10 straight no-decisions in his last start on June 26, though it came in a loss after allowing five runs in five frames.
