Can We Lose 100 Games?

100 Loses, the proverbial "Mendoza Line" of Win % futility, and a distinction usually reserved for teams intentionally in complete dumpster fire rebuild mode, is becoming a clear possibility. I will be honest here in saying that I never thought this 2019 team was any good and actually predicted a 74-88 record in Spring Training era posts earlier this season based mostly on what I thought would be poor offense, poor defense, thin starting pitching, and the notion that the Reds wouldn't be the same cakes to give us 14 wins again this season. That being said, it would have certainly seemed preposterous in April that this team could lose 100 games in a season where Cabrera, Newman, Reynolds, and even Bell to some degree, are all big surprises on the upside. Right now it would seem statistically inconceivable that the Buc's can keep up the current pace of futility, but then again... I think we have the right guy in the dugout, and the right management behind him, to pull off the dubious feat.
