Game Three: Pirates look to keep offensive momentum going

MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates at Colorado Rockies Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh came out with steady bursts of offense last night to distance themselves from the Rockies in a 9-4 victory. Every player in the Pirates lineup had a hit, with six of them having two or more and Dario Agrazal pitched a quality start.

Today, the Pirates face Tim Melville, who has made two starts in 2019. He’s a low-90s fastball velocity pitcher but has several other offerings mixed in pretty well.

What’s in store for the Rockies is a Joe Musgrove who pitches must better on the road and had a good start his last time on the mound against the Phillies.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 EST on AT&T Sportsnet- PIT
