Game Thread: Brault’s Back

MLB: Milwaukee Brewers at Pittsburgh Pirates Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Steven Brault will be making his first start in a month Tuesday night at PNC Park.

Brault (3-1, 4.15) has been sidelined with a left shoulder strain, being activated one month to the day he was placed on the injured list.

In addition to Brault being activated off the IL, Richard Rodriguez has been reinstated from the paternity list. Right-handed pitchers Yefry Ramirez and Dario Agrazal were optioned to AAA to make room on the roster.

Chase Anderson (5-2, 3.73) will take the hill for the Brewers. He has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last eight starts, though he has only pitched at least six innings once in that same time frame.

Josh Bell will be out of the lineup today and Wednesday, giving him a three day break.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m..
