A pair of pitchers will make their first career starts against their respective opponents tonight when the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park for the third game of a four-game series. The first pitch is scheduled for 9:45 p.m. EDT.

Right-hander Dario Agrazal (4-4, 4.94) will get the nod for the Pirates. Logan Webb (1-1, 6.50) will start for the Giants.

Agrazal, a 24-year-old from Panama, has had a rough time on the mound as of late, going 2-4 over his past seven appearances with a 7.42 ERA while giving up 43 hits, fanning 16 and walking 6. At times, the right-hander has struggled to keep the ball in the ballpark, giving up seven home runs in three consecutive losses from July 26 to Aug. 5.

During his last outing, Agrazal went 4 13 innings, giving up 9 hits and allowing 6 runs in a loss to the Miami Marlins at PNC Park on Thursday.

So far, it has been a roller coaster of a series with some late-inning drama. The Pirates took the first game of the series on Monday by the score of 6-4, knocking in four runs in the 9th inning. On Tuesday, the Pirates’ bats came alive again late in the game, this time scoring four runs in the 8th inning. The Giants, however, took the second game, 5-4.
