The Pittsburgh Pirates start five-game set tonight against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Steven Brault gets the start for the Pirates. Over 26.2 innings pitched this season, Brault is 0-3 with a 5.06 ERA. In his last start against the Kansas City Royals, Brault allowed three earned runs over four innings pitched. He was saddled with the loss. In games that Brault has pitched in this season, the Pirates are 1-8. He has not yet faced the Cardinals this year.
