Game Thread: White Sox at Pirates, 9/8/20

The Pirates will host the Chicago White Sox at 7:05 p.m. today in the first game of a two-game set at PNC Park.

Joe Musgrove, making his second start after coming off the disabled list, will take the mound for the Pirates while Dylan Cease (5-2, 3.29) will pitch for the White Sox. Musgrove is 0-4 on the season with a 6.62 ERA.

The Pale Hose enter play tied for first in the AL Central with a 26-15 mark. The Pirates, meanwhile, own the National League’s worst record at 13-26, a half-game better than the AL’s worst, the Texas Rangers at 13-27.

Tonight’s game, as well as Wednesday’s 7:05 p.m. series finale, will be televised on AT&T SportsNet.
