Pirates called "Slumlords" of MLB in Article

Players want to choose where they work

This is a Labor publication and I doubt many of us Pirates fans would even take issue with Nutting being called out as a Slumlord who eats up revenue sharing for his own personal benefit to the detriment of the players and fans but I'm mostly sharing it because I think it bodes pretty ill for a quick end to the lockout. A change to Age 30 Free Agency might be a start but if players really "want to choose where they work" would any choose Pittsburgh? How would small market penny-misers like Bob sign off on anything approaching 3-4 years from draft/signing control? Could the days of having MLB in Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Tampa, Baltimore, Cleveland and Oakland be over?
