The Pirates and Brewers will meet Sunday afternoon for the final of three games in Milwaukee. Pittsburgh was able to capture victory on night one, defeating Milwaukee 6-1; the Brewers got revenge in the second game, 7-1.
Adam Frazier and Bryan Reynolds each picked up a pair of hits yesterday, while Jacob Stallings drove in the lone run. Trevor Cahill struggled on the mound, allowing seven runs (six earned) over four innings of work. Sean Poppen and Clay Holmes combined for two scoreless innings each en route to the loss.
The Pirates will have an off day Monday before entering into a three game road series against the Detroit Tigers. The road trip concludes next weekend with three games in Minnesota against the Twins.
