The Buccos are in the friendly confines of PNC Park for a series with the Reds, so hopefully being back in the ‘Burgh serves up some home cooking for the Pirates, who desperately need to build off of yesterday’s win against the Chicago Cubs. Pittsburgh’s bats finally came back alive, so hopefully they can stay at least somewhat hot tonight against Cincy.
The up-and-down Mitch Keller also looks to build off of a strong last performance, as he’s coming off of a win against the San Diego Padres five days ago in which he pitched five and two-thirds scoreless innings. He was mostly bad before that, however, so whichever Keller shows up could be the deciding factor in tonight’s contest.
Let’s go Bucs!
