Our fighting Buccos have lost three games in a row, their longest losing streak of the season thus far, dropping to two games under .500 after briefly sticking their heads above water this past week. It’d be good to see them get back on track today, especially against a divisional opponent.

Martinez could be just the guy they get it done against, as he’s won just one game as a starter since 2018, but then again, that’s just the type of sitch the Pirates could pooch it against.

It sure would be nice to see Todd Frazier finally get it together today also. He’s batting just .057 on the season right now, and he’s batting cleanup. The Pirates could use his bat finally coming alive.

It’s a beautiful day in the ‘Burgh for baseball. A perfect day, in fact, to rack up a win.

Let’s go Bucs!
