Yesterday, it was looking like this game might get delayed by rain (again), but as I type, it’s a lovely day here in the Burgh with any rain coming late this afternoon, so things should start on time.

Last night was one of those frustrating games. Tyler Anderson was okay, but he gave up two long balls to Justin Turner, aka the Dodgers’ version of Colin Moran, and that was all that was needed to secure the Dodger win. Speaking of Moran, he got nailed in the hand by a David Price pitch and is still being evaluated. The Pirates also announced this morning that Luis Oviedo was placed on the 10-day IL (sigh), but Trevor Cahill has been reinstated.

Mitch Keller is scheduled to pitch today per Ben Cherington, although there’s been no official word of him getting off the COVID list as of yet. This will be his first-ever start against the Dodgers. He’s up against the Dodgers’ young lefty Julio Urias, who in his last two outings got spanked by the Giants and then spanked the Braves.

For those that don’t have access to AT&T SportsNet, today’s game will be broadcast on MLB’s YouTube channel. As long as you’re on the internet, check out Bucs Dugout’s Twitter feed since I’ll be live-tweeting the game as well as getting up to my usual shenanigans here in the comment thread.

Let’s enjoy some lunchtime baseball and, as always, LET’S GO BUCS!!

ETA: This game will not be on ATTSN. MLB.com didn’t update Gameday until the last second, sorry!
