Some familiar faces will show their faces once again at PNC Park this weekend. Corey Dickerson and Starling Marte are expected to play this weekend for the Marlins as they face the Buccos. It’s Marte’s first games against the Pirates in his career after spending his first eight MLB seasons in black and gold.
For the Pirates, Ke’Bryan Hayes could be activated from the 60-day IL as early as tonight’s game. Hayes has not played since April 3 in the second game of the season. Hayes was with the team fielding ground balls in warmups in Kansas City. He’ll definitely get a warm welcome as the team needs another bat to revive the lineup.
