As I kind of suspected they might do after the Diamondback Debacles, the Pirates have bounced back quite nicely against the Giants. There are few better ways for a team to get its confidence back than taking two from the current best team in baseball in the only ballpark that can compete with PNC Park for overall awesomeness.
JT Brubaker will take the mound for the Bucs in the final game of this series. Please be better, young Jonathan Trey. It looks like the Giants are sending out mostly understudies today, so there’s a chance.
RUMOR OF THE DAY: Per various sources (but mainly this one), Tyler Anderson is on the trade block. His next start is Tuesday. We’ll see.
In the meantime, your game thread is open, I’ll be doing my usual stuff between here and Twitter, and, as always, LET’S GO BUCS!!
