SB Nation Reacts: MLB trade deadline results

Hey, guys. We haven’t had results for a few weeks. We had some issues with the voting app, and then I had some issues getting cards made. But we’re back up and running and I do have some results for you from our latest poll on the happenings at the trade deadline, so let’s get right to it.

We asked our national voters what trade deadline deal they felt would be the most impactful in baseball, and this one was pretty unequivocal.

Scherzer is off to a 1-0 start with the Los Angeles Dodgers, racking up 10 strikeouts in 7 innings pitched. Turner is hitting .250 with a stolen base in three games, though I’m sure we can expect those stats to improve.

As for the Pittsburgh Pirates, we have our fan confidence rating, which has been much higher since the MLB Draft.

We’re up over 50 percent, which for a team muddling through at 41-71 just goes to show how well Ben Cherington’s job during the draft has been received.
