The Pirates have won or split each of their last three series and look to make it four straight with a two-game set against the White Sox.
The Southsiders had a hot-and-cold weekend against their crosstown rival Cubs (who the Pirates visit over the weekend).
The White Sox have hit double digits in runs in three of their last four games, but in the game in which they did not cross the plate at least 10 times, they were shut out.
With the White Sox, you’re either getting a real hot lineup or a real cold one. If the hot one shows up against the Pirates, that’s bad news for the Buccos.
But, if the cold Sox come to play, the Pirates got a shot.
