The last home game of the season at PNC Park is pretty fun. The weather is usually gorgeous, the staff’s giving out all the promotional stuff they couldn’t give out earlier, and Manny Sanguillen’s hanging out at his barbecue stand, telling stories and urging people to try the pulled pork and pierogi hoagie (odd, but tasty).
Alas, I am unable to attend this year, and I hate selling tickets. So I’m going to give them away to a lucky Bucs Dugout reader. These are for the game on Sunday, October 3, at 3:05 p.m. against the Reds. The picture above? Is the view from the seats, in section 112 behind the visitors' dugout. They’re on the aisle and super-convenient to the main concourse.
What do you have to do? Just reply to the game thread tweet @BucsDugout. The link will be in the game thread post, which goes up an hour before game time. Be creative, too. I enjoy creativity. I’ll notify the winner by Twitter DM tomorrow, at which time the winner will provide his/her email address so I can forward the tickets.
This is not an official Bucs Dugout giveaway, so no pesky rules. The tickets can only be retrieved through the MLB Ballpark app, though, as PNC Park (like all other MLB parks) isn’t taking paper tickets this season. So you’re going to need a smartphone and have that app downloaded. Easy peasy.
If you have any questions, this is the place to ask them. May the odds be ever in your favor!
