I saw an article about should the Pirates take a chance on Trevor Bauer. I was thinking what if the Pirates would sign him, could he play the role that AJ Burnett filled during his time in Pittsburgh - being a mentor to younger pitchers.

I don't think that Bauer could fill that role but wondered what others thought. IMHO I think that Bauer would need a mentor to become the next AJ.
