Marlins trying to set a low market for Reynolds

This exact scenario is one of the things Neal Hungtingfuck was the absolute worst at: trading a player at their value zenith. The Marlins are going into the media trying to drive expectations down on Reynolds down. Huntington always always always got his teeth kicked in about a month after an article like this. This is what rival teams do when they think a deal is within striking distance of reality. If Cherington trades Reynolds for Watson and Meyers alone he'll continue the tradition and will be fired in 3-4 years himself. The closest trade to fair value for Reynolds I can figure is:

RHP Perez
