I don't know if it was an injury or to high demand for money after the Mets took him 10th overall in the 2021 draft. He didn't sign and seemed to just go away. I guess he thought highly of himself and took a chance thinking this year he will go higher and get more money. Seems he signed in the past few days with the Tri-City Valley Cats of the Frontier League to try to get ready for the draft this year. He is eligible for the draft but I doubt he will be one of the top picks if he is even picked in the first round. He may last longer that he thinks. He was a great pitcher for Vanderbilt but seemed to loose steam toward the end of his final season with them or he had an injury. I really thought the Bucs would take him and was glad they didn't. I hope for the best for him but he may not be happy with where he's picked this year.
